NEI-Organica proudly participated in the Saudi Water Forum (SWF) 2024, held from April 29 to May 1 in Riyadh. Organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, the forum centered around the theme “Water Sustainability: Our Responsibility.” This event brought together experts, researchers, and investors from the water sector to tackle pressing challenges and develop integrated solutions.
At our exhibition booth, NEI-Organica showcased our Green & Smart Treatment Processes and Technologies, designed to address the challenges posed by urbanization and global warming. Our team of experts highlighted our commitment to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, demonstrating how our innovative approach is shaping the future of wastewater treatment in the region.
One of the key highlights of our participation was the emphasis on the Wadi Hanifa Bioremediation Plant, a landmark project successfully executed for The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC). The project, which involved the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Facility Management (FM) of a 120MLD Engineered FBAS, was commissioned in the first quarter of 2009. Since then, the Wadi Hanifa Restoration Project has become a public park and a globally recognized environmental landmark, having received multiple international awards.
We also showcased NEI-Organica’s breakthrough Food Chain Reactor (FCR) Technology, the most advanced sewage treatment and reuse facility available today. This innovative technology is currently being implemented in two significant projects in Saudi Arabia: the Qiddiya Project (22MLD) and the Diriyah Project (42MLD), both located in Riyadh. Thanks to the aesthetic appearance of Organica facilities, which resemble iconic buildings with a botanical look-and-feel, these facilities are often referred to as Water Resource Gardens. This unique design not only enhances the landscape but also seamlessly integrates with the natural environment, making the treatment process both efficient and visually appealing.

NEI-Organica’s commitment to Saudi Arabia extends beyond technology. We are dedicated to knowledge transfer through comprehensive training and the local production of NEI-Organica Water (NEI-OW) technologies in the coming years. This approach ensures that Saudi Arabia remains at the forefront of wastewater treatment innovation while empowering local expertise.
Our participation in the Saudi Water Forum 2024 reflects our ongoing dedication to providing sustainable, high-performance solutions that meet the evolving needs of the region. As we continue to innovate and collaborate, NEI-Organica is poised to lead the way in addressing the world’s most pressing water challenges.
